UtilKit is a free, fast, and privacy-focused collection of online utilities for developers, designers, and everyday users. Every tool runs entirely in your browser - your data never leaves your device.

Our Mission

We believe everyday tools should be fast, free, and private. Too many online utilities upload your data to remote servers, inject trackers, or hide useful features behind paywalls. UtilKit takes a different approach: every calculation, conversion, and transformation happens client-side using modern browser APIs and well-established open-source libraries.

How It Works

UtilKit is a static web application built with Next.js and React. There is no backend server processing your data. When you paste text, upload an image, or generate a password, everything is computed locally in your browser - that content is never uploaded, stored, or logged.

To be precise about the rest: the Site uses Google Analytics to count page views and which tools get used, and our host records standard server logs. Your theme preference is saved in your browser, and the tool pages are cached on your device so they keep working offline. None of that ever includes what you type, paste, or upload. Our Privacy Policy spells it all out.

What We Offer

Our growing toolkit includes utilities for:

  • Text: Case conversion, sorting, diffing, cleaning, line numbering, Markdown preview, word counting, and more.
  • Developer Tools: JSON, XML and SQL formatting, Base64 encoding, JWT decoding, regex testing, hashing, cron expressions, CSV viewing, and conversion between JSON, CSV, YAML and TypeScript.
  • Colors: Color conversion, palette generation, tints and shades, gradients, box shadows, and WCAG contrast checking.
  • Images: Resizing, compressing, cropping, format conversion, EXIF viewing, color picking, text extraction with OCR, and QR code scanning.
  • Generators: Passwords, UUIDs, QR codes, barcodes, lorem ipsum, and fake data.
  • Calculators: Unit conversion, percentage calculations, date differences, timestamps, and number base conversion.
